PASCO/Vernier Adapter?

Is there an adapter available for PASCO/Vernier sensors 8-pin DIN sensors to be used with the Elvis breadboard? If not, what adapters are available?

We don't provide adapters but I did a quick search on google and found a 8-pin DIN to 9-pin D-Sub adapter. NI ELVIS has the 9-pin D-Sub connection on the protoboard and so this would work perfect. I've included a link below to an adapter.

The adapter I've linked to is male on both ends; NI ELVIS has a male D-Sub connection and so you would need a female 9-pin D-Sub to actually connect to NI ELVIS. There are 9-pin D-Sub male-to-female converters. I hope this helps. Have fun with NI ELVIS.

Thanks. I assume the 9-pin D-sub connector can be wired from the protoboard. The only mismatch I see then is that the Elvis interface provides +/- 15 V, whereas many of our sensors require +/- 12 V.

Yes, the 9 pins of the D-sub connector are layed out on the protoboard. NI ELVIS has static +/- 15 V power supplies and also a variable power supply. The variable power supply can varied to range from 0 V to +/- 12 V and so you could use the variable power supply. You could also create a voltage divider (using two resistors) off of the +/- 15 V to create a constant 12 V.
