PCI6534 external clock leakage

Hi,

We have recently identified a problem with our PCI6534 pattern digital output card. Please see attached file for detailed test data. The running mode is finite sample, external clocking (1MHz or slower). It seems that at each clock update edge, all output channels output something even though we wrote zeros all way through. Does this suggest a hardware failure? Could anyone suggest a fix? say, making the clock pulse smoother?

Thanks,

Kunyan

I am adding an extra update on this problem. Maybe another way to look at it is: whenever the card is doing something (say one channel updates), it screws up other channels. The red curve in attached file looks different at different time edges. The damped oscillations may also looks like the card does not have enough power supply.

This post have been reconciled by ref# 1770629. But in case anyone anyone suggest a new solution, it will still be good to know.

Thanks,

Kunyan
