Traditional NI-DAQ Devices

I have several (8) NI DIDO cards in my tester system.  Today, I added a ninth card, Traditional NI-DAQ Devices in NI Measurement and Automation did not add it.  Ran DAQmx and it added it, but omitted one of my other cards.  Is 8 the max number of cards configurable in one system?  I know I can assign the cards numbers higher than 8 for identification.  What am I doing wrong if more than 8 cards are allowed in one system?

Hi billb,

There should not be a limit to the number of cards you can have in your system.  What is the computer OS?  What versions of DAQmx and Traditional DAQ are you using?  Please provide a list of all hardware.  What form factor are these devices?  Do the cards still show up under Devices in the Hardware tab of System Properties?  What version of MAX is installed?  All of this information can help give us more insight into what may be the issue- thanks!
