USB 6501 Lines Inverted

I am using the USB 6501 to write to ports 0,1 and 2 to control when LED's turn on.  Using the test panel in Automation Explorer, I can reset the device and all lines are off.  When I run the VI, all lines turn on and the LED's turn off instead of on at the required time.  How can I save the configuration in Automation Explorer so I will have the lines inverted so all lines are off until required to turn on?  Do I need to create a task?  I did try that but then got an error that indicated I cannot use the sames lines referenced in two places.

A reset of the device should make all of the lines inputs with (I believe) a pull-up on the line. Since you did not post your VI, no one has any idea of what you are doing differently.
