Where can I find Linux drivers for the PCI-6518? Or, how do I control this device from Linux using gcc?

Hello sanito,
Unfortunately, there is no Linux support for that particular device. We do have a Linux driver for a host of other devices, see
NI-DAQmx Base for Linux
.
