Did you mean:

Windows 95 does not find my PCI-DIO-96 board. Not on device list. No PCI driver on NI Data Acquisition list.

I tried the instructions from "Plug and Play Board Not Detected by Windows 95/98/ME" on the website:

If your board is not listed under "Data Acquisition Devices" or "Other Devices"
  1. Close all applications and power off your computer.

  2. Unplug the board from the computer and reboot your computer without the board.

  3. Launch the Control Panel » System » Device Manager and make sure your board is not listed there.

  4. Power off your computer again and reinsert the board (preferably in a different ISA/PCI slot).

  5. Your board should now be listed under "Data Acquisition Devices" in the Device Manager.

But the board is still not detected.  When I tried to do it manually, the PCI-DIO-96 board is not on the list of available drivers.  The non-plug and play PC-DIO-96 board is listed in the Data Acquisition drivers, but this doesn't work with this PCI version.

How do I get Windows to see it, or where do I get a PCI-DIO-96 driver?  I have 4 other older systems that have this board installed and working and it shows up in NIDAQ confirguration as the PCI version, yet I don't see a PCI version on the list of available drivers (only the PC version) on any of those computers either.  Strange.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Kurt

Hi Kurt,

Confirming you have the right driver is a good start.  You can find it here.

I hope this helps!
