I would like to write a Boolean to the LPT1 with the instrument I/O assistant. But if I chose write and than use ASCII to send a Boolean and I test it it says that "Timeout expired before operation completed. VISA Status code : bfff0015". I probably forgot to do something very simple but I’ve just started using Labview. Can you also tell me what’s the easiest way to read a signal with the LPT1 port. I need this because I want to give a Boolean to a device and than receive a signal that the device rotated enough.
