at-dio-32hs - which NI-DAQ API to use...and register question

I am trying to program an AT-DIO-32HS board using Visual C++ 6.0. Should I use NI-DAQmx, or Traditional Legacy NI-DAQ API ? Seems I could euse either but wanted to check. Also, the documentation says I can do register level programming, but I do not see anywhere in the documentation examples or API function calls pertaining to register manipulation. Are there any examples or documents that would explain how to do this ?

Hi Raminta,

You will need to use Traditional DAQ for this board as it is not supported in DAQmx. NI-DAQ 7.4.1 will support this board.
