hello again,

I have a question about the "Bytes at Port' property" 

In the example vi I have inclosed the Bytes at serial port vi reads the  byte count automaticly the that goes to requested byte count then the read is exacuted with the proper amount with out me telling it how many byte to read. how do i do this with visa?

P.S. I hope I was able to make it clear what I want.

The Basic Serial Write and Read shows how to do this with a property node using the 'Bytes to Read' property.  Perhaps I am not understanding your question...
