Problem Description :
I am using the PXI Chassi with the NI 4605 DMM and the NI-TB 2605 switches.The switches seem to work fine.
However, I am having problems using the NI 4605 DMM. I am running the software on Windows 2000.
I installed the new version of the NI4605 driver (2.1).
I believe the hardware is working, since I have used it before, with a windows nt machine.
Below are the Errors I am receiving.
From DMM-SFT Software I get the error
"ERROR: An error was returned by one of the internal function calls. Please check you NI-DMM driver installation".
From Labview I get the errors
"Error - 1074118650 occured at niDMM Initialize.vi"
and "0xBFFA4006 Error: an error was returned by one of the internal function c
alls." "Secondary Error - Unknown status value 0xFFFD7FE".
It also says "Elaboration: An Internnal Communication Error 0xffffd7fe occured @ 7".
NI Software : LabVIEW version 6.0.1
NI Hardware : Digital Multimeters (DMMs) device PXI-4060
Driver Version : 2.1
OS : Windows 2000
Anyone else expeirence these problems?
