Where can I get vi examples for the PCI-4065 DMM?

I just installed a PCI-4065 DMM card and the NI-DMM software.  Where can I get vi examples to interface the DMM to my application?  The CD readme file says to go to <LabVIEW>\examples\instr\niDMM for vi examples.  However, the niDMM folder does not exist.  I'm using Win-XP and LV8.5 with NI-DMM v.2.7.1

This screenshot shows the easiest way to get to the LabVIEW examples.  If the folder is not there, then it means the examples were not loaded when you installed the driver. Hope this helps.

Hi Alex,

The DMM examples are not available in my system and I cannot locate them in the NI-DMM CD (v.2.7.1)  Attached is my screen shot that shows what I have.   I located some examples in the NI web site, but apparently they are too old to work with LV 8.5, which is what I'm using. 

Do you know of anywhere else I can go to get programming examples where I can implement the DMM in to my applications.  I my case, I want to make a 4-resistance measurement.  I found res1127.zip but it's too old for me to use.

Hello Dave,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments.

The NI DMM Driver 2.7.1 does not have support included for LabVIEW 8.5.  The easiest thing to do will be to download the latest version of the driver (Version 2.7.2) from the NI Website.  While running the installer, make sure to install support for LabVIEW 8.5.  This will give you access to the shipping examples for your NI DMM in LabVIEW 8.5.
