how do I import data from a labview graph into an excel worksheet (LV 5.0)

hi,

I have generated an X-Y graph using labview 5.0. My vi reads values from 2 diff vi's which read the position and resistance respectively and plots these data as a X-Y graph. but the largest value oh the Y scale is determined by the largest value of the data point that I get while making the measurements. so when my graph is plotted, the largest value of data points are not seen very well as they are at the top of the graph window. Is there some way I can extend the value of the Y axis so that all my data points are visible clearly?


I also tried to import this graph to be read as an Excel file to solve this problem. I checked the example vi's that help me do this conversio
n , but they require LV 6.0. Is there no way I can import the graph values into Excel with LV 5.0?

I would recommend staying entirely in LabVIEW since we can solve your problem there. I have attached an example that illustrates increasing the range by 10% on both ends so that you can see your plot points easier.
