how can i call a driver function by user aplication?


Hi,
i want to call a driver function after the driver is loaded to the kernel and i don't know how...(i work with WindowsXP)
i know how to act the driver function using the exeption mecanizm by replacing the OS handler with one of my own but how can i act this function when the user wants to - for example by double click on a visual basic gui?
i really need help...

Hi,

What driver are you using? Are you programming your own driver with a Driver Development Kit (such as the NI-488DDK) or are you using an NI driver (such as NI-488.2)?
