About DAQ ground connected with Other Instruments

Now I have one PCI-6052E Multifunction I/O Board for PCI Card.When connected with external instrument,if switched the external one,it may cause my computer malfunction.I think maybe the card and computer don't have the same groud.Can someone encouter the same problem.I would like to know your solution.

Hi Mark,

Please provide details about how exactly the board is connected to your instrument. With this information, I or somebody else on the forum might be able to figure out why you are having problems.

Also, what is the malfunction that occurred? Details will help us answer.
