Does CB-68LP I/O connector need +5v power?

Hi,
I am using CB-68LP I/O connector with PCI-6024E DAQ board to meassure some current change. I noticed there is a pin called '+5v' on CB-68LP I/O connector. Does that mean i need a +5v power that makes DAQ work? If so, how can i connect this pin?
Tks

Hello!

The 5V pin is an output from your DAQ board; the 5 volts is generated from your computer.

Hello;

No, that pin is the correspondent 5V pin of the DAQ device that is connected to that specific terminal block.

That is actually a 5V line that you can use to connect external devices that need 5V supply.

Hope this helps.
