If you need to divide down a voltage input, you could use the SMB-120 which is a -10dB attenuator cable for the 447x devices. See http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?cid=13374〈=US.

If the sensor really floats, it may be useful to connect a pair of resistors like your 20K in series with the common end connected to the 447x ground/low inputs and the other ends of the resistors connected to the sensor ends and to the two "high" inputs of the pair of 447x inputs - rather like what you drew except with a resistor for both channels.
