Hi all!
I have a PXI system with three PXIe 6545 and 2 FlexRIO, all of them with 86-pin VHDCI connector. What kind of cable can i purchase to debug my app? I want to connect 6545 boards between them and also acquire outputs from 7853R devices.
Its the SH68-68-d1 connector appropiate for this purpose? Or, instead i need to use the R6868 cable, which have 2 connector?
Thanks

MMjj,
The product pages will generally lists cables that are supported and recommended.
For example, the 6545 product page found here:
https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/pxie-6545.html
We recommend the SHC68-C68-D4 Cable (1m) (196275-01) cable.
The 7853R page is found here:
https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/pxi-7853.html
There are several different cables that the 7853R supports. Note that the 6545 and the 7853R use different cables though their connectors are mechanically the same.

Hi again,
Thanks for your reply. I´ve already read something about NI recommended cables, but i don´t sure about what kind of cable I need. When I read something like this:
R68-68
" A low-cost, 68-conductor flat ribbon cable terminated with
two 68-pin connectors. Use this cable to connect a 68-pin E Series,
S Series (except NI 6143), or B Series multifunction DAQ device to
68-pin accessories." (For example)
What are 68-pin accesories? Ok, more or less i know what kind of 68-pin accesories, i think that a SH68-68-D4 connected between 2 PXIe-6545 can help me to debug some Generation/Acquistion apps, but, what about RIO devices? is it necessary a block connector? I have two 7853R, and all i need is (while HW is being developed) read/write from/to each of the 3 device connector (Device 1 - Connector 0 with Device 2 - Connector 0,...).
Thanks again
