I am just switching over to LV 7.1 / NI-DAQ 7.2.
By now (LV 7.0), I could start a dummy acquisition at an early time to allow for settling (I even used the automatic RT startup program for that purpose) and later on, everything was o.k. for the real acquisition. Before the real acquisition, I initiated the set up process with a Device Reset call, just to be on the safe side regarding the device state.
Now, with LV 7.1, this seems to have changed and the Device Reset (what else?) causes the IEPE to be reset to off. So I get a different behaviour of my application.
In addition to this, by now (up to MAX 3.0.1), you could not set IEPE through MAX, now (MAX 3.1) it should work (according to a colleague of mine, I d
id not test for myself. Of course, my system is MAX-configured not to switch it on, as it was a "don't care" by now.
So, what did change regarding IEPE with the new DAQ/LV/... release? I did not see anything mentioned in the documentation ...
