I'm looking for microdot to SMB cables. Would anyone have references of such cables ? Curiously, I couldn't find these cables on B&K or PCB websites... Thanks in advance ! Gerald
You can have them specially made which can be expensive. I ended up purchasing a long (~10ft) microdot to microdot cable (RG174) from Dytran. Purchased the SMB female connectors from Allied electronics and cut the pre-made microdot cable and made my own. I tried attaching a microdot connector to some RG174 and quickly realized that somebody with experience was going to do a much better job.
An alternative to a microdot to SMB cable is to connect a SMB to BNC cable and a BNC to microdot cable together. NI sells the SMB to BNC cable, microdot to BNC cable is quite common.
