We want to output the onboard 10 MHz reference clock of the PCI 5112 and use it to synchronize an external device. PFI 2 is chosen as the output terminal.
I used niScope Configure Clock (the setting is: reference input clock source=none; clock sync pulse source = RTSI 0; master enabled = T; output clock source = RTSI clock) and niScope Export Signal (the setting is: signal = reference clock; output terminal = PFI 2) to do this task. I am not sure if NI-TClk VIs should be used.
Using an external digital oscilloscope connected to the bin 6 of the AUX connector, I want to see the output signal (either the refernce clock signal or the clock synchronization pulse), but I did not see anything.
Could any one know how to perform this task? Thanks in advance!
