Regarding temperature measurement for your application, please refer to documentation on our website that provides information about choosing the right temperature sensor
here. There are a few links at the bottom to both NI's website as well as some outside vendors for various types of temperature sensors (thermocouples, RTD's, and thermistors).
For measuring RPM, depending on your application I would recommend a photosensor that can generate pulses in relation to rotational speed. I am not aware of specific vendors that are recommended for these types of sensors. If you contact one of our sales representatives at (888) 280-7645 they should have a better idea of outside vendors for such sensors, as they are asked these types of questions frequently.
