Can we recover our flash from the crio?

We would like not have to start from scratch from last years design, so is there a way to recover the image from our old crio and import it into lab view to edit and add things? Any help would be greatly apperciated.

Hi Jeramy,

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to recover the code from the cRIO. Even if you could recover the executable that you have had downloaded onto the cRIO, it has probably been compiled down to a point that you would not be able to open in LabVIEW.Do you have any of the original source code saved on a laptop or desktop that you could use?

Okay, I was thinking that but, wasn't sure and unfourtenly the laptop that had the software got wiped from the district last year.

I think we will be able to program it though. I been watching and reading tutorials and I am starting to get how to use lab view

Hello,

If you are looking for more material to learn how to program with this year's framework, of course check out the documents on this community but also check out FRC Mastery. There is a lot of material out there for you to learn from.

I hope this helps!  Have a great day!

Thanks!
