I get one or more of these messages:
"Watchdog Expiration:System 4, User 1"
whenever I switch from the Diagnostics tab to the Operation, Setup, or IO tabs and back again. This is with the default robot project running on the robot. The messages do not begin appearing until the robot is Enabled.
I also get the message periodically, maybe 1 every 10 min., if I just let it sit doing nothing with the Driver Station.
e.g.,
(on Operation tab)
Enable
(on Diagnostics tab)
Watchdog Expiration:System 5, User 1
Watchdog Expiration:System 4, User 1
(back to Operation tab)
(back to Diagnostics tab)
Watchdog Expiration:System 8, User 1
Watchdog Expiration:System 6, User 1
(back to Operation tab)
(back to Diagnostics tab)
Watchdog Expiration:System 12, User 1
and so on as long as I choose to switch back and forth.
How do I get around this ?

murthyz,
Have you updated your FRC LabVIEW and Driverstation to the latest versions? If not, please do so.
FIRST Robotics Software 2010 - Windows - LabVIEW & NI Utilities
FIRST Robotics Software 2010 - Windows - Driver Station
If you have, can you post screenshots of the errors?

The DS and cRIO were all updated ! . I'm still wondering why the camera is not communicating and shows the error - 44003.Its only then I'm getting the watchdog error like the ones stated above. When I disconnect the cRIO's Ethernet port 2 from the crossover cable I don't seem to get the watchdog error and the error- 44003 "Operation failed due to a communication failure with the camera.

From your picture, you don't have the updated dashboard. Follow the instructions in this post: http://decibel.ni.com/content/message/12386#12386

Hi murthyz,
Can you communicat with the camera in general? That is, can you acquire images if you used the Vision Assistant?
If not, the error is probably due to the fact that you haven't configured your camera correctly. Follow the instructions in step 12 of the Getting Started Manual to configure your camera.

Thanks a ton !!!!!
I did have the older driver station inspite of having updated with the update1.0 for DS. The install-uninstall worked for me !!!!!!!!!!!
However I still have the watch dog error coming along ! Is there anymeans that I can get rid of it ?
Thanks,
Murthy

Don't worry too much about the system watchdog error for now. Things should still
work - it just means some of the communication data packets aren't getting read as often as we would like. We are working on a Driver Station update that
will address this.
