What is the correspondence between arena positions and the Get Alliance VI position numbers?

I assume that the three position numbers correspond to the Alliance Fueling Station, Alliance Outpost and Opposing-Alliance Fueling Station.  Do the position numbers 1, 2, and 3 follow in this order?

It's just as possible that it's the driver station number (which is know before the match even begins).

Of course this would have little value to the robot

I spoke with our developers and they actually do not know exactly what these numbers represent.  The spec for this VI was described several months ago while the game was still in development.  We are in contact with FIRST and we will post an accurate description as soon as we hear back from them.
