I think I'm doing something simple wrong but, on the driver station, I can't get the "Robot Code" light to go green.
I've deployed the default code (that we got at kickoff) to the cRio. I reset the cRio. On the robot, the flashing light goes to a slow flash. On the operation dashboard on the driver station, the "Communication" light goes to green. On the driver station in the diagnostics area, under the communications heading, the "Enet Link" light is green and the "Robot" light is green. But the "Robot Code" light stays red.
I try to hit the space bar to disable the e-stop and that doesn't work. I can't get the joystick to work either.
What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Does anyone have step by step instructions on how to get the code?

Have you updated LabVIEW, reimaged the cRIO with the v19 image (after updating LabVIEW), and updated the Driver Station software?
What do you mean by "I've deployed the default code (that we got at kickoff) to the cRio".?

Hello Joe,
Can you verify that you went through these steps to download default code to the Robot: [FRC 2010] How Do I Deploy Default Code To My Robot?
NOTE: The imaging tool does not download default code to the robot (this is different from last year).
As long as you have a startup executable running the code, or running the code in on the development machine in a debugging environment you should not see "No Robot Code". Let me know if this does not work and I will continue to troubleshoot this with you. I hope this helps!
Thanks!

I didn't do the "Build" or "Run at startup" All I did was the deploy. I'll give this a shot tomorrow when I get to play...I mean work on...the robot.
Thanks, I'll mark this thread "answered" tomorrow after I try it.
