Future of LabVIEW and FTC?

Greetings,

Given this press release announcing the new controller for 2015/2016:

will NI be supporting FTC with a LabVIEW toolkit next year?  Reading into the press release, it currently looks to to be Java only.

Thank you for asking!

NI is a long-time supporter of all FIRST programs.  We are excited to see new technologies introduced in FTC to take the competition to the next level.  Unfortunately, LabVIEW is not supported on the new FTC controller.  We will continue to evaluate the new controller to determine if LabVIEW support is possible in the future.
