help - can't communicate with Samantha Module (Archived)

Hi -

although our teams can successfully write and implement code using the bluetooth communications apparatus, we are unable to download code into the robot with the Samantha module or operate the Teleop.vi through the Samantha module.  Our robots are discovered by the FCS when connected via the Samantha module.

Are we missing some sort of Labview code or implementation.

Please help.

The discussion on the FTC forum on http://ftcforum.usfirst.org/ indicates that only the FCS software is able to use the Samantha to communicate with NXT.

To download and develop programs with LabView (or RobotC) you need to use the USB cable or Bluetooth connection mechanisms.

(i was told the same by both NI and RobotC folks.  Both say they are working on it, but not yet).
