Cannot install NI-FBUS v 3.2, because phantom lower versions exist

When installing the Fieldbus configurator version 3.2 it complains that lower versions exist.  I did have version 3.1, but uninstalled it and rebooted. There are no more National Instruments or NI programs to remove from my Add/Remove programs panel.

What now?

You need to remove some registry entries. Let me check first which key/directory is the exact one to remove.
