We have a test FF network which includes two SMAR devices (an FI302 and a IF302). On our laptop system running NI-FBUS 3.1 with the PCMCIA adapter, we have no problem configuring the SMAR devices. With the new Ethernet H1/HSE linking device running NI-FBUS 3.2, I have had no success connecting to the SMAR devices.
The NI-FBUS 3.1 (laptop) and NI-FBUS 3.2 (PC desktop) setups have the same exact DD libraries. The SMAR DDs should not be a problem unless NI-FBUS 3.2 needs a different CFF, FFO and SYM file format.
Basically Version 3.2 with the H1/HSE Linking Device appears to be unusable.
