How to add DD files for new device to NI-FBUS

I am trying to add new device to my NI FBUS. To do I did add the DD files using the Interface configuration utility. When I started the Ni configurator all the function blocks

show (UNK) unknown status even though the DD files are present in \Data\ folder. What can be done to resolve this?

The UNK status of the block is caused by incorrect DD files. Please try the following steps.

1. Restart NI-FBUS Communications Manager(CM) after DD files were imported.

2. In Configurator, double click the device icon under online link. In Device Properties dialog, check whether device information is correct.

3. In Configurator, Device Type Window (View menu->Device Type Window), find the new device you just added. Double click and check whether device information and cff path is correct.

4. Update DD file to the latest version. Please go to www.fieldbus.org website or contact the device manufacturer.
