I am trying to install the NI-FBUS 3.1 evaluation software. During the install i recieve the following error: "Error 1335 - the cabinet file "cabs.w1.cab" is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate..." I have a machine with XP service pack 2 as the OS. Do I need to get a version of the file indicated in the error message in order to complete the install?

We can install the NI-FBUS Configurator 3.1 Evaluation software in XP (SP2) successfully.

You can try to re-download the 3.1 Evaluation software again. And also make sure you have uninstalled all the previous version NI-FBUS software completely, otherwise, it might cause such failure. Another good try is to install the software in another PC, see whether it helps.
