      Please clarify, I am having NI-FBUS configurator and NI monitor software , is their any possible way of sending PN's manually to the fieldbus device using NI and see the response in NI monitor.

Hi Chenthil Palani,

PN packets can not be sent manually.

The stack (firmware) on NI-FBUS interface devices (PCI/PCMCIA-FBUS/USB-8486) is responsible for sending PNs. NI-FBUS interface card will send PNs automatically and continuously as long as Communications Manager is running.
