second pc access

We have got a foundation fielbus system. Until now we only used it with one PC with a PCI-card. Now we want access (at same time) with a second PC and bougth fo rthat a NI USB-8486.

Now if the Foundation Feldbus is only running on one PC it works. But if we want read Data from the Feldbus with both PC's at same time it doesn't work. We neither can start running Feldbus at same time on both PC's.

Witch configurations we have to do? We have the FBUS configurator 4.1

Hi, I think you can make sure that only one interface card (PCI and USB8486) is acting as LAS (link active shechuler), and the other as basic device.

To configure their roles, first quit NI-FBUS Communication Manager, then open Interface Configuration Utility, you can choose options from there.
