I'll third or fourth or fifth (or whatever number we're on) the no .bmp's as well, as long as something like Christian's FP-BD utility is available and described on how to use it and why we don't allow .bmp's.

I almost forgot that we had a discussion on further improvements to techniques to save FP and BD images. Have a look at this discussion that CC started and where JPD suggested to create an entry to the tools menu of LabVIEW. 😄
(Personally, I would prefer that it does not use the clipboard, but simply open a file dialog with e.g. the current_VI.vi replaced by current_VI.png as default name.)
Molly, maybe you could talk to the LabVIEW development team and convince them to include such a tool to either the "tools" of "file" menu of the next version of LabVIEW 🙂 (It could even be a toolbar button with a little camera on it :o).
Alternatively, it could be offered with a small installer as an add-on for existing LabVIEW installations (with a direct download link to it in the forum help section).
