At first I noticed something looks weird, then I realized that's what it was.
In general, I think that's a better position than at the bottom, although now I will have to get used to it again. Is it possible to have it in both places? I think that would be the best thing.

Great feedback tst and altenbach!
I will add those requests to the list.
Thanks!

Hi Molly,
Is it possible to search / view the author's questions only? What I mean is that when searching a topic, you can filter for title or description of the question and not the answers..
I was looking for an old post which I was the originator ( posting a question ). Since then, I've answered many (which I found), but could not find my own question.
Thanks,
Ray

Joe LabVIEW -
There isn't a clean way to find all the questions you have asked (yet). It is a feature we have planned for the future. I did some digging and found some of the questions you have posted, but probably an alteration of CC's List VI would get the data more easily.

You might ask what to do with this information now... Well, my recommendation would be to take some keywords from the subject and do an advanced message search for posts where you were the author, in the specified board, and over any time range. I know I didn't get all of the questions you asked, but I'm hoping it was one of these 🙂 If not, I can go try to find the others.
Have a great weekend!

Thanks Molly,
Unfortunately the one I was looking for is not in the list. But that is okay, since someone else provided the details to a posting.
I am curious, how did you do that? Did you modify CC's List VI? I might actually have a look at it.
Thanks,
Ray

To be honest, it wasn't pretty. Brace yourself. It involved doing a search for all messages posted by you, changing the number of replies posted on the page, highlighting the results, pasting them into Excel as text and sorting them. I warned you...
I guarantee CC would have a better solution 🙂
Thanks!

JLV, one "way" would be to open the advanced search page (here is an example of a time where I would have liked it to be on the bottom of the page), search all the forums, with no time limit and search the message subject only for any (the second field) of a list of common likely words (For example, I used "a an are labview is it can has as I do you me", but you can (and should) add some more).
Then, the key to finding the questions is to add "re:" to the third field (the one called "without the words"). This will drop almost all of your replies, because the default message subject for a reply is "re: whatever the original line was". It's not foolproof, but it should detect at least some of your questions. I found 6 for you, but with more words, you should fare better, especially if you remember specific words from the title.
