Change is not necessarily bad, and the previous changes were all intended to have positive impact. But the track record leaves some things to be desired to WIT:
Expanded search capabilities offered a cleaner interface with more options but failed to preserve pre-existing search options that were indispensable to forum user's with high engagement! e.g.. Reading all recent solutions by Knights used to be a highly informative hour of my week. It now takes too much time and frustration to accomplish the task.
R.Sync Offered a single point of entry to NI community but .... Well lets not relive that day but the subject of this thread seems relevant.
Moo and Kudos are still debated by a few die-hards. I like Kudos, did not like stars, Tags are somewhat helpful if you know in advance that you may want to re-visit, and Moo just does not impress me much.
Sure I'm up for improvements that make it easier to engage the forums! for instance the Mobile experience I had last night. I would have responded in detail last evening except for my PC is limping and I had to go to my mobile. No one can "Quote" from the mobile interface and I cant "Type" from the Full version since I only have a Virtual Keyboard. (Explains a bit more about the intent of my previous post doesn't it)
All that said, change always causes stress in any system. (Try violating Newton's Laws, I suspect the "Isaac Police" will be rather harsh on you.) So I'll end by congratulating the forum team for enabling the community and cheer for improvements
