Hi Everyone -
For now, please refrain from using Firefox 4 with the NI Forums as the message editor is not compatible with this new browser. Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 8 continue to work fine, but Internet Explorer 9 must be used in compatibility mode.
I apologize for any inconvenience this causes you. Lithium, our forum vendor is actively working to support these new browsers. As I learn more, I will keep you updated on a possible timeline for this browser support.
Regards,
Laura

I'm assuming this only happens to some of the users, as I'm typing this in FF 4 and the editor looks fine (I see the cursor).

I also have been using FF4 since it came out and have not encountered any issues that I wasn't already seeing before FF4. So, I think the vendor blaming FF4 and/or IE9 is a bit of a stretch. But that's just my own personal opinion.

Can you load http://ni.i.lithium.com/skins/HEAD/32B709F80C716E1DFF4FFA721BEF1E7E/ni-1991929918.css in Firefox 4?
Does the issue go away if you clear your cache?
Thanks,
Laura

After having a few problems when initially switching to FF4, I did manage to sort things out to work fine as I wrote here. It does load a different CSS file: http://ni.i.lithium.com/skins/HEAD/2FE0EFFF6E6FBD780EA62643FDB11B01/ni-1679482634.css
The issue appears (to me) to be the useragent which FF uses. If this is reset to the default value, then things appear to work fine - the correct CSS file is loaded, and everything looks good. But if FF has a different useragent setting, then Lithium obviously thinks it's a different browser, and tries to send the wrong files.
To reset the useragent, type about:config in the URL bar, and find the preference called general.useragent.override - right-click this preference and choose Reset. I'd be interested to know if this works for other people too.
By the way, I had the same problems for a while with FF 3.6 as well, so it's not something that is restricted to FF4.
Cheers ~ Greg

I have been using FF4 almost from its release and didn't find problems in my daily usage neither with the forums nor with other sites.
Nevertheless, I cannot load the pages linked both from Laura and Greg.
Unfortunately, I do not have the key posted by Greg in my browser config...
