Double login needed?

The website seems to require two logins: one at the top of the page, one in the "forum" area:

This might just be a glitch, since clicking on the botton "Log in" link automatically logs you in if you are logged in at the top.

This has always been the case. You can login to ni.com, but you will not be logged into the forums automatically. We are working towards a true single sign on implementation in the future.
