Embedded video no longer shows

My post here has an embedded youtube video and it always showed until now.

Today, the video no longer shows using chrome, we just have a blank background.

If I open it in IE, it also does not show initially, but there is a popup at the bottom, telling me that only secure content is displayed, with a link to "risks" and a button to "Show all content" (see picture). Once I click that, the video shows again.

Further down is another video that does not have that problem. Is there any way to fix the embedding so the video shows always?

Ah, fixed it!

I changed the embedded youtube link from http to https and things now display just fine again. 😄

Curious that it displayed normally until now using http. What changed (chrome, forum, youtube, etc....)?

Yes, I fixed it by changing it to https.

No I meant i am able to view and play the video that i embedded.

(Well, that wasn't clear because you did not give a link to your video. See my confusion? :D)

Ah, now that's interesting. Apparently we can get to the forum via http (http://forums.ni.com) or via https (https://forums.ni.com).

Has this always been the case?

Only if I go th the forum link via https, the video embedded as http gives problems. For some reason my session must have switched over yesterday, maybe by clicning on an https link by someone. Curious....

Ok I agree you can see the future

I dont see the only video that i did manage to embed...

And as always how did you manage to switch it to https??
