Error in looking who gave kudos to a post

Solved!
Go to solution

Forgive me if somebody already posted it: I found no meaningful search criteria to find that post...

Several times it has happened to me to look who gave kudos to some post: normally I arrive at the correct user list, but sometimes I ended up giving a kudo to that post, insted. After I noted this, I took the habit of hovering with the mouse on kudos kount, wait for the balloon "Click here to see who gave kudos" and then click: even in this case it has happened to me that I ended up giving a kudo! Smiley Surprised

It's happening both on Firefox 3 (don't remember the subversion) and on IE 8.0 on 2 different machines, both on WinXP SP3.

Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

The message options (top right) has a "revoke Kudos" option that will let you fix your mistake err the forums mistake.

Thanks Ben: I never really looked at the message options menu.

It works exactly as you said and it's not subject to time limitations (i.e. I can revoke my kudos even some days after I gave it).

(It will be better that this inconvenience doesn't happen, though. But at least it can be corrected)

Now this was worth reading - I have had this problem too and got frustrated a few times by Kudoing "bad posts" when I was trying to see who was crazy enough to have done so already.

Kudos to you both for a good question and an enlightening answer
