Verizon anyone?

Just an update.  I am able to access the forums through my Verizon DSL connection now.

Christian, don't worry, you'll get a bill adjustment soon enough.  It just won't be in the direction you are looking for.

Hi All,

Well Im' back to work so I can get at the forums with a machine with LV. I'm suprised to see that I am the only person still locked out.

I heard over the week-end that MS had pushed out a security fix the night my connection went down. Concidering the timing I think that is what has locked me out. Is there any wany to get Lithium to look into this issue?

There could be others locked-out and we would not know about it since they would have to use alternative routes to get in and they may not want to go throught the effort to do so.

You're not the only one locked out.  My connection was fine for a while.  It was fine on Saturday night.  But Sunday afternoon and evening, the problem returned.

Well after running off of my wife's laptop (with NO LV!*) for more than a month I tried my machine again and I can now connect!

I feel like i am back home after a long trip.

* Try staying active for more than a month in a graphical forum with no LV and only a faulty memory memory chip.

Has anyone noticed if this problem returned again this weekend?

I tried logging in Friday 1/9 and Saturday night 1/10 to www.ni.com from my home Verizon DSL account and could not get to the NI site.

But when I did a remote desktop to my work PC, that is able to connect.

Anyone having a similar issue?  (Of course in order to be able to read this, you'll also have to have an alternate way to access the website.)

If this is once again a Verizon problem,  what's the deal?

Edit: to add to this, I tried some of the other links in Christian's reply #3 and add the same problem.

I haven't seen any problems from my FIOS account (Southern California).

Some time after I made that post on Saturday night, I was able to connect a few times, though not consistently.  This morning seems fine.  So perhaps if it was something, it was just sporadic, or they fixed it before it lasted too long.
