Firefox - read messages are not marked as read

I'm checking out Firefox (2.0) at the moment.
Like everything else, it has advantages and disadvantages, but at the moment, there is one specific issue which is troubling me - If I go into a thread and then click the back button, the board view still shows that the thread is unread, even though the system actually does know that it was read.
It's the same with clearing a board. Clearing it (or reading threads in it) and returning to the main page using the back button still shows the board with the same number of unread messages.

This seems to be an issue with Firefox not reloading the page when clicking the back button (but using the cached page instead), because clicking a link to the board or the main page does load the page correctly.

Is this a known issue? I couldn't find any thread about this.

Me too.  I think this was happening for me with Firefox 1.whatever  too, but am not entirely sure.  I would guess there's probably some settings inside Firefox that could be messed with, but I haven't gotten around to it.  (Probably won't, either.  I'd rather just watch this thread until someone else figures it out.  Smiley Very Happy )

ALERT! LabVIEW's subscription-only policy came to an end (finally!). Unfortunately, pricing favors the captured and committed over new adopters -- so tread carefully.

Hi tst,

The only thing I know for sure is that the issue seems to be only with Firefox 2.0, which is the version I also use.  Lithium only has official support for IE.  I'm not sure how much investigating they will do into the issue, but I will report it to them so that they are aware of it.

Thanks for the feedback,
Laura
