What browser are you using?  I haven't seen that issue.  (IE8 on WinVista at home, IE7 on XP at work).

I use Firefox. It's known to be an issue with Firefox, though it's not clear if the issue is with Firefox itself, or with the control itself (i.e., a bug that IE ignores). Could be with other browsers ... not sure.

I agree, I also dislike the space deletion as Firefox is my primary browser.  Lithium has never been able to find another community with this problem 😞  Once again I hope that the upgrade that will take place this summer will take care of the issue.  I have not noticed during my testing.
