Problem entering Emotions

has anyone else had problems entering Emotions from the Popup.

Sometimes I press the  button an the toolbar and select the desired face only nothing gets inserted into the message. In the end I have to close the panel and reopen it again to try again. usually it works the second time.

My using IE 7.0.5730.13

I see that quite frequently.  It seems like it doesn't work when the popup doesn't load completely.  There is an indication of when the popup truly finishes loading.  First you see all the icons load, (and that takes way too long, and 3/4 of them are useless).  Then there is a slight pause.  Then the size of the window seems to jump slightly larger.  Once that happens then the icon will usually insert okay.  (I won't guarantee it, but generally.)  If I don't see that final jump in the size of the window, then I can almost guarantee that the emoticon won't insert when I click on it.

Overall, the original emoticon dialog was far better.

I use Firefox and I pretty much have to display the window twice about 95% of the time. Yeah, real improvement. NOT.

I have learnt to live with it. I usually drag the emotions and place it in the message. works everytime

Totally agree with this thread.  Inserting emoticons is a real pain..

Although for some, it may be a real joy to see less of them...  being abused...  by someone like me..
