Just out of curiosity, how do you make an animated icon?

I've never bothered to try, and now that you brought it up, I don't think I know to make one.

I use Corel Photopaint but it's not that great for animated GIFs. There are many commercial programs (e..g. photoshop)  that allow you to create animations. If you have any graphics or photo editing program, check the help to see if it is possible to do.
