Hi,
when you browse the forum you get this:
above and below the list of threads.
When browsing the "My images" folder of my profile I get the page selector only above the list of images.
As there are 100 images shown (25 rows by 4 images per row) it's a quite long webpage and I need to scroll a lot. When you reach the bottom of the image list you have to scroll back to top just to go to the next page: quite annoying!
Please also show this page selector at the bottom of the image list!

So glad I don't have that problem...
Actually, I wish I could go back and edit old posts and get these images attached to the posts (where they truly belong) and out of my image albums. Another step would be to allow attachments to blog and idea comments.

Hi crossrulz,
actually I was looking into the "ALL IMAGES" tab, which lists hundreds of images from all my messages…
I know. I was just showing that I only have 41 images. Most of those were due to the fact that the Idea Exchange and the blogs do not allow attachments. Others were from before I learned to attach the images to the posts.

Hi crossrulz,
how to avoid collecting all those images in "My images"?
I just attached an image to a post (instead of my usual way to upload the image using the "add image" button in the message editor) just to get its URL to be able to inline the image within the message: it still is included in my image album…

Don't use the "Add Image". You attach the image, post the message, edit the post, get the URL of the image (use the "current" post below the edit, which will include your image), and just paste in the editor. The editor will convert the URL into the image.
In my opinion, the Add Image should attach the image to the post instead of sending stuff into the album.

Thanks crossrulz for the description.
It feels wrong to me to need to "post twice" (aka post, then edit to embed in the images), but this way the image didn't made it into my image album. I agree the "Add image" button should automatically add the image to the post instead of the user album…
Another note to the forum maintainers:
Is there a way to enforce the "My images" widget to show up ALWAYS when I open my profile? Every second try I have to reload the profile webpage to see that widget appear in the left column containing all the other widgets (like "Latest tags" or "Kudos from").
Observation while checking twice before posting this message: I opened my profile webpage and see the widgets "Latest tags" and "Kudos from" immediately. No "My images", but after about 12-15s the widget suddenly appears between those two other widgets. Quite annoying to have to wait for a widget to appear even though the browser indicates it has finished to load the webpage…

That could be a result of you having so many images in your album. Mine loads up immediately.

Hi crossrulz,

Which is a result of the "Add Image" behaviour to add images to the user's image album: the forum software needs to be improved to either change the place the image is linked to or to handle this amount of images faster…
The same applies for my subscriptions: each time I post a new thread subscription is created (yes, that's my profile setting to get informed about answers), but there is no way to delete old subscriptions in a useful way. All I can do is to delete subscriptions by lists of 10 items, which requires 3 mouse actions and 2 webpage reloads, requiring about 15s in sum. Now do this for ~9000 subscriptions, spread over ~900 lists…

Hi GerdW,
My apologies for the delayed response. I missed this one. I have passed this request over to our development team to improve the process. We will address it when availability and priority allows.
