I'm just voicing a thought I had:
As well as giving kudos to somebody's post for being helpful, amusing, etc. Would anybody else think it would be at all useful to also be able to kudo (or otherwise show public appreciation of) a single sentence or paragraph?
Say for instance someone has written a nice explanation for something which deserves kudos, but also added an amusing anecdote halfway through. Rather than half a dozen people derailing the thread for the sake of quoting it and adding "lol", they could maybe give the sentance an emoticon which shows up on a mouse-over
Feel free to one star this post berate me if you don't agree!

Just an example of my thinking; it's not a visually intrusive suggestion

I don't know if it's just me, but that gif seems to be going round a lot faster than when I made it. Ben, I know you like your gifs, what program do you use?
I'll put the three images up so they can be looked at...
