The user forum is going to be too powerful for excel in the near future.  We have 51000 unique contributers as seen in this last leaderboard.  That's unbelievable.

 By the way... I'm still using Excel 2002... Anyone can tell me if in newer versions the max number of lines has increased Smiley Surprised

Max columns = 256, Max Rows = 65536.

Why I do NOT know, but M$ seems unable to fix this limitation.

To be fair, OpenOffice has the same.......

Well congratulations Joe!

I tried to plot your climb throught the forum this week end but ran into technical difficulties. But lacking that, let me thank you for your participation. I really apprecialte the work you have put into the Excel thread. I have to adimt that I have used that thread at least a half dozen times already!

So thank you and CONGRATULATIONS!

I heard excel 2007 has more rows don't know how much
specifically, the Excel 12 grid will be 1,048,576 rows by 16,384 columns.  That’s 1,500% more rows and 6,300% more columns than in Excel 2003

Congrats on the 1000 I should be there ba the end of the summer if my schedule ever lets up.  As for the 10K I will probably be there the day after never at the rate I am going.
