You can always use shift+enter to force a single-spaced line break.
(like this). Typically, when you press enter, the page insersts <p></p> pairs, causing the paragraph breaks.
For full control, use "edit as HTML" and you have access to the actual html codes. edit as needed. 😄

Still remains the question mark on how the editor behaves: the first message of this thread was written using Enter to separate paragraphs: no double spacing there. This post is written the same way: double spacing!
Just looking at the html for this page (said that I know anything of html language) : in my first post paragraphs are enclosed into < DIV > and < /DIV > marks, while in altenbach one and this one paragraphs are enclosed into < P > < /P > marks.
