• What are your security settings in the browser?
• Any third party popup blockers? Toolbars?
• There could be a fancy corporate firewall which blocks it as a false positive of some pattern.

Maybe you have a corrupt script in your browser cache. Try to delete the temporary files.

Yes to 3 items!  I lowered the internet security of the browser (a bit) after setting up the others.  I have anti-spyware, anti-popus, anti-this, anti-that.. anti-MS..

I doubt it's the firewall, but suspect the add-blocker / pop-up blocker is the culprit.

It works... Wow,,, picked up more than I expected...  So much for my excellent spelling.  😞

Oh well.. I prefer having it turned on... So what's a few spelling mistakex betweens friendz??

Hi Ben,

I did turn it off again.  Last few times I did this, it eventually turned itself back on.  I'm not sure if it will this time or not.

I noticed something new and different.

I had posted a message.  At about the 8 minute point, I started to edit it.  It took a few minutes and I'm sure I was past the 10 minute point.  I clicked submit.  The same screen remained but showed in red text that the "Edit was successfully submitted"  or something to that effect near the top.  I never saw this before and I read it a few times and am pretty sure that it did not include the word NOT or say "unsuccessfully."  The screen did not go back to the thread like it normally would after an edit.  I clicked around to get back into the thread and I saw that my message had not been changed.  So the message in red seems to be wrong, unless I'm crazy and misread this.

The On-line indication has changed again.

If grey was Off-line and green was On-line, what does the amber colour mean,

"I'm thinking about coming on-line"

or

"I'm away having a coffee....." ( this one would be ideal for JLV   )

Sometimes it counts, sometimes it shows up, many times it neither counts my stars nor does it show up.

Today only I ve noticed all of these, what a shame on me!

Works fine here..

Just gave 5 stars to a wizzard buddy and it tallied up.  Works fine.  Stars will show up later.

Are you checking your statistics regularly?  Are they like the image above?

You're not abusing the system are you? 😄

Hi Everyone,

To respond to all of the comments:

Ravens fan - Edits must now be completed and submitted within a 10 minute window.  It sounds like you may have seen the wrong message.  I'll have a closer look.

Ray F. - I had the icons changed because the previous ones did not fit in with our color scheme.  I changed Online to be yellow and kept Offline as gray.  We removed the LEDs because they were pretty ugly looking, with the black background.

Partha - JLV is right, the ratings can take a while to show up now.  You are not eliminated from the star-giving race
